The Game is set in a lab where these four animals have to work together to solve puzzles and escape from a mad scientist’s experiment.
The game was met with fairly positive reviews, Destructoid.com giving the game an 8/10, saying the game was "Great" and had "Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems."
Tiny Brains was showed in the Pax 2013 episode. The video ended with mainly positive feedback towards the game.
On December 7th, 2013, the Completionist Episode for Tiny Brains was released. As a precursor to the episode, five episodes were released on the Beard Bros. Channel. Footage from this series was later used on the episode.
Jirard appreciates the simplicity of the story, as well as its quirkiness. He also appreciates the presentation and physics of the world. Unfortunately, there are some bugs and freezes he encountered while playing. Though he loves the art direction and attention to detail.
Jirard recommends playing the game with friends as opposed to solo. He loves the puzzle solving, but finds the game too short. He and Greg also find the soccer game entertaining.
- Jirard had to find alternate methods to record this game for Super Beard Bros. and The Completionist. As such, he admits the video doesn't properly represent the game's visual quality.
