The Completionist Edit

Jirard reviewed Super Street Fighter II Turbo for the 151st episode of The Completionist. He reviews the game alongside Michael Santell and Brett Bayonne to promote the new channel in the That One Video Gamer community, Super Couch Fighters.

The three find the story a bit weird, considering the game itself doesn’t tell the story. However, they don’t think it matters in the long run. They praise the game’s visuals for the time. They consider these visuals and the music incredibly iconic.

The three praises the game’s innovative combo-centric gameplay, which has only gotten better with each revision. They also consider the versus mode to be incredibly addictive, encouraging players to learn their favorite characters inside out and keep them playing for extended periods of time.

Trivia Edit

  • Throughout the review, M. Bison is referred to as Dictator, and Vega is referred to as Claw.
