Mega Man X, known in Japan as Rockman X (ロックマンX?), is a video game developed by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It is the first Mega Man game for the 16-bit console and the first game in the Mega Man X series, a spin-off of the original Mega Man series that began on the SNES's predecessor, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Mega Man X was first published in Japan on December 12, 1993 and was released in both North America and Europe the following year. This game takes place a century after the original Mega Man series.

The Completionist

Originally uploaded to Jirard's old channel, ThatOneVideoWebsite, this episode served as a debut to the Completionist. As this was the very first episode, Jirard was trying to get a feel for the show, while also explaining the show.

Jirard praises Mega Man X in almost every aspect, from its style and visuals, upgrades in gameplay from the NES series, the upgrade system, and music.

This episode is much more vulgar than his later videos, cursing more often then usual. It's really advised not to watch this episode for first impressions.

Inbetween Season 3 and Season 4, Jirard redid his review of Mega Man X with a rewritten script, but still very similar to his original video. This version censors/completely does away with the strong language of the original. It can be found here: [1]

Trivia

  • Throughout the episode, Greg is not introduced at all, but rather his disambiguate voice is heard throughout the episode. However, in the remastered version of this episode, Greg is introduced.
  • Originally, the fourth "level" (or topic) was replay-ability.
